Contractor must supply large bucket truck with operator and at least one groundman, as well as a chipper truck, chipper and crew. Contractor must chip all brush and haul to town property designated Orange Highway Dept. Contractor must cut logs into 6' lengths and stack neatly in piles alongside the road where work is being performed. Logs will be removed by the town. All stumps must be cut within 6" off the ground. A lump sum price shall be bid for removal of all trees on the attached tree list. A separate hourly rate shall be bid for additional tree removal during the next year. The hourly rate shall include the same scope of work listed above. A current original signed Insurance Certificate, minimum $1,000,000 liability, with the Town of Orange as additional insured must be submitted to the Public Works Department office at the Town Hall before the work can begin. You must also submit a current Worker's Compensation insurance certificate, as well as current vehicle registrations for the vehicles you will be using for doing the work.
