Site work and paving for a road / highway in Freetown, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.

Bid milling & pavement overlay of Leslie Lane and various streets. Question Deadline 09/12/2025 at 5:00 PM ET Every request for such interpretation shall be in writing addressed to James R. Noyes, Greenman Pedersen, Inc., 181 Ballardvale Street, Suite 202, Wilmington, Massachusetts 01887 and may be e-mailed to jnoyes@gpinet.com The work consists of pavement milling, pavement reconstruction and resurfacing of approximately 1.5 miles of local streets. Each Bid must be accompanied by a bid security consisting of a BID BOND or CERTIFIED CHECK issued by a responsible bank or trust company in the amount of 5% of the bid price. The work consists of pavement reconstruction (removal of pavement and placement of 4_ inches of hot mix asphalt) or pavement milling and/or placement of 1_ inches of pavement overlay on several streets in the Town of Freetown. The general area of work is shown on Figure 1 and as described below. Lesley Lane (Figure 2) runs from its intersection with Bullock Road, dead-ending approximately 1,300 feet from Bullock Road. The pavement has deteriorated sufficiently to require the complete replacement of the intermediate (binder) and surface asphalt. In addition, the sidewalk is in poor condition. The plan is to remove the sidewalk in its entirety and replace with loam and seed. The contractor will remove the pavement by mechanical means, fine grade and compact the gravel to remain, and pave with 3 inches of intermediate (binder) course pavement and 1_ inches of surface course pavement. Charbonneau Avenue, Estelle Avenue and Gerard Avenue (Figure 3) form a complete loop around an older residential subdivision, beginning and ending at County Road. The three streets total 3,500 feet in length. Pavement milling and 1_ inches of surface course pavement are the proposed treatment for these streets. Paul Avenue (also Figure 3) lies in the same residential subdivision. The proposed work on Paul Avenue is between Charbonneau Avenue and Gerard Avenue and is approximately 670 feet in length. Pavement milling and 1_ inches of surface course pavement is also the proposed treatment for this street. The proposed project limits for Malbone Road (Figure 4) are between Amanda Road and Beechwood Road, a distance of approximately 2,215 feet. Pavement milling and 1_ inches of surface course pavement is also the proposed treatment for this street.
