Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in El Centro, California. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.
Concrete sidewalk repairs and removal must be achieved by blade cutting concrete on a horizontal plane that will not scar or damage surrounding concrete. 1. Removal must be achieved by blade cutting concrete on a horizontal plane that will not scar or damage surrounding concrete 3.Resulting cuts must be in uniform in texture and slope across the cut. 4. Contractor is responsible for removal, recycling and disposal of construction debris 5. Proposals must include a detailed report of trip hazards uplift heights, lengths of proprosed cuts and gps location. 6.A detailed report of work completed must be provided to ECESD including but not limited to; photographs, gps location and date of removal 7.Work must be performed in coordination with district to limit student exposure to noise and construction hazards. At the District's sole discretion, awards may be made for multiple sites, a single site, or no sites at the conclusion of the bid process. ("DVBE") ofat least 3 percent per year 1. UPLIFTS - Contractor shall repair all sidewalk uplifts from 1/4"-2" in designated work areas. Contractor shall assess all vertical uplifts that have sidewalk displacements greater than or equal to 0.25". Note all sidewalk locations with a displacement of greater than 2" and provide a description of such locations to School District for alternative remedy, such as identify the locations that cannot be slicedwithin the 1/4" -2" range along with the reason why the location can't be sliced. 2. DATA COLLECTION DEVICE - Contractor shall use a data collection device that records the work and can transmit the data electronically. The recording device shall record the vertical displacement of the uplifts, global positioning system (GPS) coordinates, and property address of the damaged locations. Data shall be provided to the School District as an ESRI shapefile, excel spreadsheet, or in another format if that alternate format is approved in advance by District. 3. PHOTOGRAPHS - Provide a minimum of two clear photographs (one photograph showing the sidewalk damage priorto repairfrom a distance for the purpose of recognizing the general location of the damage, and the other photo priorto repair showing a closeup of the sidewalk damage itself, with depth and length properly measured). Provide a minimum of two photographs of each completed sliced locations that clearly show the repair work completed as well as the general location of the repair. 4. COMPLETION DATE AND TIME - All completed slicing data shall contain the completed date and time. The identified non-sliceable locations shall also include the assessed date and time. 5. SLICING UPLIFTS - Contractor shall slice uplifts entirely from one end of the raised sidewalk joint to the other if applicable, leaving an absolute zero point of the differential between slabs or fractures. 6. FLUSH EQUIPMENT -Contractor's equipment must be flush to the ground, capable of working at any angle, and able to perform uplift removal in hard-to-reach areas, around
