Furnishing all labor, materials, necessary tools, equipment, supervision, appurtenances, construction permits, utility owner coordination, and all utility and transportation services required for: The work shall consist of the installation of pre-manufactured fully cantilevered and dual cantilevered shade structures, primed and painted per City Public Works Director or his representative, and all appurtenant work in order to complete said shade structures. The design of the shade structures shall consist of structural shop drawings, plans, specifications, and calculations, stamped and signed by a California Registered Civil Engineer or California Registered Structural Engineer. The shade structures must be built according to the plans & specifications approved by the City of El Centro Community Development Department, through a building permit, and at those locations shown in the proposal plans. The shades shall match those already installed in City-owned parking lots. The shades shall also have vandal proof lights, 120 volts each high-pressure sodium industrial type lighting underneath to allow for lighted parking spaces at night. The lights shall have a timer mechanism to allow for non-operation during daylight hours. The electrical work will consist of underground conduit, and light fixture installation for the shade canopy lights.
