The City of Mansfield, Ohio is accepting Statements of Qualifications (SOQ) from qualified professional electrical engineering firms to provide design, bid-phase support, and construction inspection services for the "High-Voltage Substation and Distribution System Mansfield & 179th ANG" project. The project includes the design and inspection of a new 138 kV substation and associated distribution improvements in support of the 179th Air National Guard's new Cyberspace Wing, as well as coordination with FirstEnergy to extend transmission lines. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time. DATES: Design Start - October 2025 Construction Estimated Start - July 2025 (TBD) Interested firms should submit SOQs to: Robert Bianchi, P.E. City Engineer City of Mansfield 30 North Diamond Street Mansfield, Ohio 44902 The completed SOQs shall be received at the aforementioned address by 4:00 pm on the response due date listed above.
