Project comprises labor, material and services necessary for: Project 6800: Install new 12 gate valve on discharge water line. Once new gate valve is in place remove and replace two (2) existing 10 gate valves on existing pipes. Project 6802: Contractor is responsible for ensuring a safe workplace including compliance with OSHA Confined Space Protocols, and other applicable standards. Reline existing one-million-gallon concrete water tank. Purge and vent tank. Supply and install OSHA approved scaffolding. Test and treat tank interior for chloride contamination as required. Perform complete and comprehensive visual inspection. Patch and repair substrate for compliance with coating manufacturers requirements. Confined space weld repair per OSHA Standards as needed per substrate inspection. Spray interior of tank with monolithic lining shell. Test entire tank for final liner thickness and defects, repair as required. Refill tank. The States requirements for Disabled Veteran Business Enterprise (DVBE) participation will be presented along with other contract requirements. Bidders are required to sign in upon arrival and sign out at the conclusion of the pre-bid site inspection. Attendance for the entire inspection is required in order for bidders to be eligible to submit a bid. The term of this project is 365 calendar days.
