The bidder shall provide a lump sum price to: Provide snow removal services for all 143 single family residential driveways located in the Village of North Randall whenever snow accumulation is two (2) inches or more. Provide sufficient driveway/yard markers to clearly identify driveway/pavement areas. Submit company information, equipment, manpower, etc. to indicate the ability to provide a timely response in a professional manner. Provide proof of business liability insurance. Provide proof of liability insurance for all vehicles. Provide snowplowing customer references. Contract term shall be from November 1st (First) 2025 thru April 30th (thirtieth) 2026. Provide a detailed explanation of how resident complaints will be handled, particularly regarding damage to property, including but not limited to, structures, driveways, lawns, etc. Snow removal includes removing all snow within the drive limits, regardless of the number of plow passes required. Snow shall not be left in front of garages, entrances to home, or sidewalks. This includes any snow that may fall off the plow or be directed by the plow. Plow blade orientation shall be in the direction that ensures that snow is not deposited toward the home. All snow removed from the driveway of a resident shall be placed back onto the property from where it was taken, either on the tree lawn or front lawn. The tree lawn is the preferred location, but if space is limited or not large enough to accommodate the snow, the front lawn may be used. All sidewalks shall be kept free from piling or mounding of snow at all times and shall be removed by the contractor if the snow blocks the sidewalk. The streets shall also be kept free and clean from all snow removed from the driveway as well. Snow on drive aprons as a result of village plowing operations shall be removed regardless of whether it is present before or after driveway plowing occurs. The successful bidder shall be responsible for all work related to this contract. The successful bidder shall review their proposed methods and procedures with the Village prior to commencing work. The successful bidder shall be responsible for the coordination and satisfactory performance of all the work involved in the project. Failure to do so shall result in termination of this contract with the bidder assuming all costs associated with the termination of the contract as well as any and all additional costs associated with the hiring of a new contractor to complete the bid for the remaining portion of this contract. The successful bidder shall protect all driveways, lawns, shrubs, trees, buildings surfaces, contents, equipment, personnel, etc, from harm or damage during the performance of their work and will be responsible for any damage and repair. The right is reserved to accept any bidder, to reject any or all bids, and to waive informalities should it be deemed to be in the best interest of the Village of North Randall to do so.
