Renovation of a conference / convention center in Cleveland, Ohio. Completed plans call for the renovation of a conference / convention center.
Those portions of the Contract Document consisting of written technical descriptions of materials, equipment, construction systems, standards and workmanship as applied to the Work. Every request for such an interpretation shall be made in writing and addressed and forwarded to the Village Engineer five (5) or more days before the date fixed for opening of proposals. Each Bid must be accompanied by a Bid Bond in the full amount of the Bid or a Certified Check, Cashier's Check, or Letter of Credit in an amount equal to ten percent of the Bid, as designated in Section 153.54 of the Ohio Revised Code. The Bid Guarantee shall be furnished as surety that if the Bid Proposal is accepted, a contract will be entered into and the performance of said Construction will be secured within the specified time. Bid Guarantees will be retained until a contract is properly executed by the successful bidder. Bids together with the Bid Guarantee must be sealed in an envelope and endorsed. Doc note: Bidders are required to use the printed forms as furnished on application and are required to purchase a set of Plans and Specifications to be a plan holder of record. Each Bid must separately state the amount bid for both labor and material and shall contain the full name or names of the party or parties making the same. Toscana Hall Site Improvements Cuyahoga Heights, Ohio The Village of Cuyahoga Heights reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive any informalities or irregularities in the bids received and to accept any bid which it deems most favorable, and to disregard all nonconforming, incomplete or conditional bids or counter proposals; and to conduct investigations to assist in the evaluation of any bid so as to establish qualifications, responsibility and financial ability of the contractor or sub-contractor to complete the work in accordance with the contract documents to the Village's satisfaction within the prescribed time.
