Langlade County is soliciting bids from roofing contracting companies for a project located at the Charles de Langlade Recreation Area, N10571 Clear Lake Rd., Elcho, Wisconsin 54420. The building in need of roof repair is 25' in height, roof dimensions are 86'X40', standing seam steel with 2" of insulation. The roof was damaged by storm in 2017 with a tree hitting the west corner of the building. The project will include the following: Repair of Roof and Damaged Purlins Repair and Replacement of all facia and facia boards Sealing of Entire Roof by Coating or Membrane Bids must include a bid/performance bond equal to 10% of the bid total. Cut off four feet of two damaged Purlins and replace with new C-purlins 6' long bolted to the backside of existing. b. Remove Damaged steel panels and replaced with custom fabricated steel panels for structural base to semi-waterproof standard (waterproofing will be completed with installation of spray coating) c. Remove ridge vent and replace with new d. Remove antenna e. Replace all pipe flashing and two -way breather vents f. Dispose all material removed. 2. Repair and Replacement of Facia a. Remove Existing rake metal and all damaged boards on all sides and disposed of. b. Install 3"x3",6" angle iron bolted on both sides of purlins where board joints meet and install 2x6 pine facia boards to replace any damaged or missing facia boards. c. Install rake perimeter 2-piece compression edge metal 8" wide on the face. and 2" pvc coated edge metal on eaves d. Install-24 gauge steel fascia on the entire perimeter e. Dispose all material removed. 3. Installation of Roof Coating a. Install spray foam/epoxy roof coating to provide a seamless waterproof membrane over the entire roof surface. Coating shall have at least a 20-year warranty. Provide additional warranty options with bid. 4. Gutter Option a. Install Commercial steel rain gutters 6"x6" on both eaves b. Install One 5"x5" downspout on each eave side to be drained to the front of the building.
