A bid bond executed by a U.S. Treasury listed surety company acceptable to the owner, or a cashier's check in the amount of at least 5% of the sum of the proposal payable to Marshall Public Schools shall be submitted with each proposal in excess of $50,000. All proposals shall be firm for a period of sixty (60) days. The cost of the Bond shall be included in the proposal. The Marshall Public Schools Board of Education reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids; to waive any informality therein; or to award the contract to other than the low bidder, which is in the best interest of the District.
