This project is being funded through the NYS Division of Homeland Security and Emergency Services (DHSES). Document info : The Bidding and Contract Documents may also be reviewed, but not purchased or otherwise acquired at Associated Building Contractors of the Triple Cities, Inc. 15 Belden Street, Binghamton NY 13903. Bidders will be required to comply with all applicable state requirements as well as provide information and documentation as needed to comply with grant requirements. Contract is subject to review and approval from the State funding agency. Time of Completion - the successful bidder shall begin the Work on receipt of the Notice to Proceed with an anticipated start work date on or around October 2, 2025, and shall complete the Work within the Contract Time. A defined work schedule will be coordinated with the successful bidder. A certified check or cashier's check payable to the Town of Chenango or a satisfactory Bid Bond executed by the Bidder and an acceptable surety, in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the total Bid shall be submitted with each Bid. The Successful Bidder shall be required to furnish and pay for satisfactory Performance and Labor and Material Payment Bonds, each in the amount at least equal to the Contract Amount as security for the faithful performance and payment of all Contractor's obligations under the Contract Documents. The Town of Chenango reserves the right to waive any informality in, or to reject any or all Bids. Bids may be held by the Town of Chenango for a period not to exceed forty-five (45) calendar days from the date of the Bid Opening for the purpose of reviewing the Bids and investigating qualifications of Bidders prior to awarding the Contract. A Pre-Bid Meeting will not be held.
