Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Garden City, Kansas. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.
Question Deadline 09/17/2025 All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be submitted to Engineer in writing. Questions received less than seven days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered. The Project consists of the following (in general): Supplying and Installation of Traffic Signal System, Sidewalk Construction, Sidewalk Ramp Construction, Signing, Pavement Markings, Temporary Traffic Control, Seeding, and other ancillary items of work. Construction of a new traffic signal system, sidewalk, ramps, signing, pavement markings, temporary traffic control, and ancillary work, at the Spruce Street and Fleming Street intersection in Garden City Kansas. Each bid shall be accompanied by a bid security in the amount of five percent (5%) of the total bid. The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive informalities, and to accept the bid deemed to be in the best interest of the City. Experience constructing and installing traffic signals will be required for award. See Instruction to Bidders for detailed information and requirements.
