The City of Dell City will receive bids for furnishing all labor, materials, and equipment and performing all work required for the Water System Improvements in Dell City, TX for TxCDBG Contract CDV23 0399, Base Bid: Water Well Improvements to include removal and replacement of existing submersible pump. Additive Alternate Bid #1: Booster Station upgrades to include removal and replacement of existing centrifugal pump and pump foundation. Additive Alternate Bid #2: Water Well Improvements to include replacement of existing controller system with new auto-controller. Electrical upgrades and reconnections required for this autocontroller upgrade is inclusive of this item. A bid bond in the amount of five (5) percent of the bid issued by an acceptable surety shall be submitted with each bid. A certified check or bank draft payable to the City of Dell City or negotiable U.S. Government Bonds (as par value) may be submitted in lieu of the Bid Bond. Attention is called to the fact that not less than, the federally determined prevailing (Davis-Bacon and Related Acts) wage rate, as issued by the US Department of Labor and contained in the contract documents, must be paid on this project. In addition, the successful bidder must ensure that employees and applicants for employment are not discriminated against because of race, color, religion, sex, sexual identity, gender identity, or national origin. This grant is covered by the terms of the Build America Buy America Act.
