Site work for a water / sewer project in Tequesta, Florida. Working plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
As of December 09, 2025, project has been cancelled. No definite date for the rebid. The project scope consists of the construction of improvements to process efficiency, process safety, and control of the water treatment plant(s) including conversion of the gaseous (anhydrous) ammonia system to a safer liquid ammonia system, instrumentation and control upgrades - the control system hardware has been modified and compounded as each upgrade or expansion has occurred and is not well integrated; the planned instrumentation and automation upgrades will address this and allow better control over the WTP, installation of water quality monitoring equipment/ automation, improvements to the WTP's reverse osmosis system, and additional upgrades as shown on the project design drawings and as specified herein. Bid security shall be furnished in accordance with the "Instructions to Bidders" section of the bid documents. Any questions regarding the specifications and solicitation process must be submitted in writing to Jeff Snyder, Director, Finance Department at jsnyder@tequesta.org, copying Allyson Felsburg, Utilities Deputy Director, at afelsburg@tequesta.org. The Village will contact the design engineer for technical questions if applicable. Questions and requests for clarification and additional information must be received before the deadline for submission of questions on September 25, 2025, at 5:00 PM local time.
