Reference Number 0000396853 DESCRIPTION: Bids are being solicited for a Vendor to replace and upgrade the existing theater step lights in the Theater Auditorium, at the Ford Community & Performing Arts Center (FCPAC). The step lights in the Theater Auditorium, at the FCPAC, are in need of an upgrade. The City of Dearborn is currently requesting bids for a step light upgrade, which may include new carpeting on the steps depending on findings during the mandatory on-site visit. Ford Community Performing Arts Center is location at 15801 Michigan Avenue, Dearborn 48126. SCOPE OF WORK/SPECIFICATIONS: The City is requesting that the work be completed between December 22, 2025 and January 6, 2026. This is a block of time that the Theater has no activity, in order to facilitate the work. The Contractor will be responsible for removing existing step lights, replacing with similar or better variation of step lighting. Must be able to complete all electrical work. Contractor will be responsible for any cosmetic repairs and/or carpet replacement on the steps. Contractor will need to integrate the new lights into current theatrical lighting system. The theater system is comprised of an ETC Unison system. Lighting product must be controllable through existing theater lighting system. The theater system is comprised of an ETC Unison system. Lighting product must be a high visible color (red, orange, white, or interchangeable). Consideration will be given to products that have intensity control. Contractor Responsibilities: _ Must complete on-site visit and measurements. _ Must provide product demo before installation. _ Installation of all scopes of work and materials. _ Must provide references of similar projects completed. _ Must be point of contact. _ Vendor must provide a 2-year warranty, with on-site service calls. City of Dearborn Responsibilities: _ The City will offer full access to the facility as needed. _ The City will assist with internal electrical needs, as requested.
