Renovation of a residential development in Gonzalez, Florida. Completed plans call for the renovation of a residential development.
General Contractors that are licensed, insured, and in good standing with the County are eligible to bid on the attached scope. New contractors with the county are required to submit a letter of insurability agreeing to these requirements. Escambia County may award Line item by Line item for emergency items limited to roofing and septic/sewer services. Question Submission Deadline: September 10, 2025, 1:00pm. - contact Scott Sanchez, NED with questions, 850-595-0827, jssanchez@myescambia.com The rehabilitation of this owner-occupied, single-family, residence is to make the home safer, more energy efficient, and easier to access within the provisions of federal, state, and county laws and ordinances and the SHIP repair program. The rehabilitation of this home will include the following tasks as outlined below and the repaired areas are to match as close as possible to their existing surroundings. If additional tasks beyond those included in this scope are discovered, then additional funds may be allocated. Before any additional work is performed, written county approval will be needed. There is no federal funding for this project. If you are performing work on Escambia County property, you must provide proof of a certificate of insurance that meets the County's standard requirements and lists Escambia County as an additional insured. Vendors should contact the designated department or project representative to confirm specific insurance requirements before proceeding with work. There is no federal funding for this project. 1.PLUMBING: Repair the damaged fresh water supply line that is leaking in the laundry room as per Escambia County Building Code and repair any damaged or missing drywall. Install a new stainless-steel double bowl kitchen sink, faucet with sprayer, a 3/4hp garbage disposal, and new waste lines. Install two new matching vanity sinks and faucets with a pop-up drains in the master bathroom and replace all 1/4 turn brass shutoff valves on fixtures, new braided supply lines, and replace any old piping and fittings associated with these repairs. 2.CABINETRY: Replace the existing damaged kitchen sink base cabinet with a new matching all-wood cabinet to match the existing configuration. Replace the existing kitchen countertop with square-edge laminate tops, including 4" side and back splashes to match the existing configuration. 3.WINDOWS: Replace one window on the left side of the home that is broken with a new single-hung vinyl impact windows as per the Escambia County Building Code. This unit is to be complete with trims, screens, and low-e glass. Repair any windowsill or buck that is rotten or damaged. Performance(100%), Payment(100%)
