Renovation of a mixed-use development in Portland, Oregon. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a medical facility.
This project involves infrastructure upgrades in support of the Electronic Health Record Modernization (EHRM) at the VA Portland Health Care System. The scope includes installation of redundant plenum-rated fiber in new underground raceways and vaults connecting 20 Intermediate Distribution Frames (IDFs) to the Main Communication Room (MCR), and new primary OS2 plenum-rated fiber to 7 IDFs to MCR at Building 11. It also includes installation of new IDFs (primary and redundant) and Cat6a cabling for sterile processing in Building 2. The contractor is required to assess, inspect, and verify existing site conditions prior to construction. The work may involve civil, plumbing, mechanical, electrical, and electronic security disciplines and must be completed in accordance with provided drawings and specifications. The procurement will be a competitive, firm-fixed-price design-bid-build contract, with an estimated magnitude between $5,000,000 and $10,000,000 and a performance period of 365 calendar days.
