Renovation of a water / sewer project in Point of Rocks, Maryland. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
PThe Point of Rocks Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP) Improvements project is located at the County's Point of Rocks WWTP located at 4049 Rock Hall Road, Point of Rocks, MD 21777. The project involves the construction of a headworks process building, replacement of influent pumps, standby generator, building modifications, blowers, air lift pumps, utility service connections, power distribution, motor controls, field instruments and analyzers, and building HVAC improvements. This also consists of other support associated work including erosion and sediment controls, excavation and backfill, excavation support, structural framing and foundations, electrical, controls, buried piping and valves, and piping modifications at existing facilities. Bidder hereby agrees to commence work under this Contract within ten days after service of a written "Notice to Proceed" from the Owner and to complete the work fully within 730 calendar days from Notice to Proceed. It is the intent of the County to assess liquidated damages for each calendar day the Contractor is delinquent in completing the Work in the Contract Question Deadline 09/30/2025 at 4:00 PM ET Submit questions to Laura Schug at lschug@firederickcountymd.gov.
