Site work and new construction of a residential development in Norman, Oklahoma. Completed plans call for the construction of a residential development; and for site work for a residential development.
The Absentee Shawnee Housing Authority is requesting sealed bids for the construction of four (4) three (3) bedroom duplexes in Norman, OK, from Indian owned and Non-Indian owned businesses/contractors. Contractor will be responsible for all phases of build including, but not limited to, the design of lot and drainage; all dirt work (fill & including any needed clearing of brush/trees); installing sod; building pads; all utilities, and complete duplex construction. Including all interior and exterior finishes. Must meet or exceed all state and local building codes. House plans and spec sheet will be provided by ASHA (SITE VISIT MANDATORY) THIS IS A TURNKEY BUILD therefore upon completion duplexes must be move in ready. Subject to Davis Bacon wage rates; NAHASDA guidelines, rules and regulations; Section 7(b) of the Indian Self-Determination Act (25 U.S.C. 450e(b)); Section 7(b) of the Indian Act; contractors shall to the greatest extent feasible give preference in the award of any sub-contracts to Indian owned economic enterprises and preferences and opportunities for training and employment to Indians; and include the Section 7(b) clause in every sub-contract.
