Renovation of a municipal facility in North Olmsted, Ohio. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
Old Town Hall Masonry Repointing Project. Each bid for each project must be accompanied by a certified check on a solvent bank in the amount of 10% of the bid or a 100% Bid Bond, the same being payable to the City of North Olmsted as a guarantee that, if the bid is accepted, a Contract will be entered into and a Performance Bond satisfactory to said municipality in an amount equal to 100% of the total bid will be furnished. The deposit of the successful bidder will be retained until the Contract is properly executed and delivered. Deposits of all unsuccessful bidders will be returned following the award. A bidder/contractor will be deemed committed to the Department of Labor's goals and timetables for the Cleveland, Ohio, areas as specified in the Notice of Requirements for Affirmative Action to ensure Equal Employment Opportunity Executive Order 11246 by submitting a properly signed bid Each bidder must ensure that all employees and applicants for employment are not discriminated against because of their race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability or veteran status. Small Business Enterprises (SBE's) are encouraged to participate on this project. The goal for SBE participation is 35% of total contract award for this project. Bidders must comply with prevailing Davis -Bacon wage and benefit rates for this project. The City reserves the right to accept all or any part of any bid and to reject any and all bids, and to waive any informality in the bids received, and to accept any bid, or combination of bids, which it deems lowest and best. Bidders shall be a plan holder of record with the City in order for their bid to be considered.
