Wastewater Treatment Plant Upgrades Wastewater System Renovations The Project includes the following Work: Contract #1: Wastewater Treatment Plant Improvements including upgrades to the headworks, control building, sludge holding tank, sludge belt press, UV disinfection, and SBR aeration system; resurfacing of driveways and parking areas, and related appurtenances. Contract Times (Calendar Days) Substantial / Final Payment: 180 / 210 The Work will be substantially completed and ready for final payment after the date when the Contract Times commence to run as listed above. Liquidated damages shall be $1,000 per day for Contract 1 and Contract 2. Bids shall be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond payable to Union Williams Public Service District in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the base bid.
