The Abatement Project Will Involve the Removal and Disposal of: Approximately 47,720 Ft2 of Asbestos-containing Floor Tile and Associated Black Mastic from Throughout the Former Mandan High School. This Material May Be Located Under Newer Flooring Materials; Approximately 75 Ft2 of Asbestos Containing Tank Insulation From 2 Tanks Located in the Pump Area; and All Mudded Pipe Joints from Throughout the Tunnels, Above Ceilings, and Behind Walls Throughout the School; Within the Former Mandan High School The Project is Scheduled to Start on Monday, September 29, 2025 to the Awarded Abatement Contractor (Ac). This Project Must Be Substantially Finished by Friday, November 28, 2025. Each Bid Must Be Accompanied by a Separate Envelope Containing a Bidder's Bond in a Sum Equal to Five Percent of the Full Amount of the Bid, Executed by the Bidder as Principal and by a Surety Company Authorized to Do Business in This State, Conditioned That if the Principal's Bid Be Accepted and the Contract Awarded to the Principal, the Principal, Within Ten Days After Notice of Award, Will Execute and Effect a Contract in Accordance With the Terms of the Principal's Bid and a Contractor's Bond as Required by Law and the Regulations and Determinations of the Governing Board. The Successful Abatement Contractor Will Also Be Required to Submit a Performance and Payment (P&p) Bond as Outlined in the Abatement Project Specifications. Also, Include in the Bidders Bond Envelope a Copy of the Abatement Contractor's Current North Dakota General Contractor's License and North Dakota Asbestos Abatement Contractor's License. The Owner Reserves the Right to Waive Any Informalities and to Accept or Reject Any or All Bids, or Parts Thereof. All Bidders Must Be Licensed for the Highest Amount of Their Bids, as Provided by Section 43-07-05 and as Also Prescribed by Section 43-09-09. No Bid Will Be Read or Considered Which Does Not Fully Comply With the Above Provisions and Any Deficient Bid Submitted Will Be Released and Returned to the Bidder Immediately. No Bidder May Withdraw His Bid Within 45 Days After the Actual Opening of the Bids.
