The City of Milpitas ("City") is seeking qualifications from consulting firms ("Firm") for professional engineering design and construction support services ("Services") to be performed on various utility improvements some of which are referenced in the City's Water Master Plan, Sewer Master Plan and adopted Capital Improvement Program. The Services sought under this Request for Qualifications ("RFQ") are set forth in more detail in Attachment A attached hereto and incorporated herein by this reference. Firms shall provide professional staff who are well-qualified and have the necessary experience and skills to provide engineering design and construction support services for utility improvement projects referenced in the City's Sewer, Storm Drain, and Water Master Plans, and adopted Capital Improvement Program (CIP). Based on the quality of qualifications received, the City will establish a list of Firms on an "On-Call" basis to solicit future proposals as projects are approved and budgeted. Firm(s) selected from this RFQ will remain on the on-call list for (5) years. License and Bonding. Respondent shall be licensed and bonded in accordance with industry practices, laws, rules, and regulations governing the performance of services required in this RFQ. Respondent represents that it is duly licensed and experienced in providing services similar to those being performed under this RFQ, that it and its employees or subcontractors have all necessary licenses and permits to perform these services in the State of California, and that it is familiar with the plans of City. Question Submission Deadline: September 18, 2025, 2:00pm Question Response Deadline: September 25, 2025, 2:00pm. The City reserves the right to amend the schedule below as necessary. All times referenced are in Pacific Time. The City reserves the right to extend the Submittal Deadline when it is in the best interest of the City to do so. The City reserves the right to postpone the Submittal Deadline and opening of solicitation submittal any time before the date and time announced in the RFQ or subsequent addenda. Any updates to the timeline will be made to the solicitation on the online. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
