Renovation of a municipal facility in Rochester, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
The Town of Rochester, Massachusetts, pursuant to M.G.L. c. 149 and c. 30 S39M, invites sealed bids from qualified contractors for the removal of the existing roof system and installation of a metal retrofit with a new PVC roof system at the Rochester Highway Barn, 200 Ryder Road, Rochester, MA. The project area is approximately 14,800 square feet. DCAMM certification in Roofing and an Update Statement are required in accordance with M.G.L. c. 149 S44D. Each bid must be accompanied by a bid deposit equal to five percent (5%) of the total bid amount. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a 100% Performance Bond and a 100% Payment Bond. Massachusetts Prevailing Wage Rates apply. The work must be substantially complete by October 31, 2025. The Town of Rochester reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids if deemed in the best interest of the Town.
