The Province is looking for qualified team for the provision of design and construction services using the Collaborative Design-Build delivery method for two (2) school projects. The scope of work for the Phase I ESA consisted of the following activities. o Reviewing the historical occupancy of the Site through the use of available archived and relevant municipal and business directories, topographical maps and aerial photographs. o Contacting provincial agencies to determine the existence of records of environmental non-compliance, if any and reviewing such records where available. o Examining the Federal Contaminated Sites (FCS) database. o Reviewing available geological maps, well records and utility maps for the vicinity of the Site. o Conducting a reconnaissance of the Site and Site infrastructure in order to identify the presence of actual and/or potential environmental contaminants or risks of significance. o Conducting interviews with designated Site representative(s) as a resource for current and historical Site information, as well as to provide EXP staff with unrestricted access to all areas of the Site.
