As of October 10, 2025, project is awarded to Ridgeline Roofing & Restoration DBA Rooflab in the amount of $48,002.54. All work for the project shall be performed in accordance with the attachment. The work includes trimming back the existing eaves from approximately five feet to one foot, replacing all plywood roof decking, and eliminating the drop fascia portion of the current design. The roofing system will be amended to utilize metal roofing material in place of the existing asphalt shingles, with all associated labor, materials, and installation required to provide a complete and finished roof system. A bid bond will not be required for this project. The Contractor performing this service shall have a strong background in providing a positive working relationship with Cities having a Council/City Manager type government and a history of successfully performing structural and roofing projects. Such experience should include work related to roof replacement, roof decking, fascia systems, waterproofing, and installation of roofing materials (e.g., asphalt shingles, metal roofing, or comparable systems). The City shall have the right to contact any and all client references provided by the bidder and inquire about the clients experience with the Contractors performance, quality of work, and project management. Bidder will be evaluated based on their completeness and quality of their written bid submittal, background, prior experience, ability to meet the Citys needs on a schedule deemed acceptable by the City, pricing, offered guarantees and manufacturers warranties if applicable, and such other factors required by law. Reviewing and ranking of the firms bid will be performed by City of Cape Canaveral Staff and any applicable City consultant. There will not be a need for any presentation by firms. The final ranking will be presented to the City Council for final selection at the City Councils sole and absolute discretion.
