The Canaveral Port Authority is seeking proposals from qualified Construction Management at Risk firms for this project, which includes preconstruction services, establishing a Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP), and the potential execution of a GMP Amendment. The work involves improvements to accommodate larger vessels with approximately 7,000 passenger capacity, expansion of the building for additional queueing areas, improving passenger security screening, general passenger seating for 750 and VIP seating for 250, and a separate luggage laydown area. Minimal work is planned for the Customs and Border Protection Federal Inspection Service area. Construction is to be phased during non-ship days or night shifts to avoid ceasing cruise terminal operations. Proposals must be submitted both in sealed written form and electronically via VendorLink. Only one firm is anticipated to be selected. The solicitation is governed by CPA Policy POL-2016-002-PUR-3.
