Description

Renovation of an educational facility in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.

Design Services for renovations to Coffman Memorial Union, located on the east bank of the Twin Cities campus. Refer to the Request for Proposal documents (found in the Attachments tab) for full project details/requirements. Deadline for RFP Questions August 27, 2025 at Noon The University requires the Predesign Phase to be complete by no later than January 23, 2026. The University will evaluate each Proposal based on the criteria noted above. The University reserves the right to shortlist Respondents for further evaluation and interviews. The Respondent selected for an award will be the one whose Proposal is responsive, responsible, and is the most advantageous to the University, as determined by the University in its sole discretion, whether or not the Proposal is the lowest cost or the highest scorer. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time experience and licensed construction contractor (or others as approved by the University) for cost estimating services during the Predesign phase only. A Construction Manager at Risk (CMaR) will be selected independently during the Schematic Design Phase The estimated total construction cost of the Project is estimated to be between $8,000,000 and $9,000,000 *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
