This project consists of replacing existing roofs and existing HVAC equipment. The project includes but is not limited to roofing, flashing, HVAC unit replacement, new insulation, and other minor improvements Time for Completion - 45 Working Days for substantial completion and 60 working days for Final Completion Question Deadline 10/01/2025 at 11:00 AM PT Questions are submitted online Yes, For any additional information or technical questions please contact Emily Warne at ewarne@novato.org Bonding Requirements - Bid Bond 10 % - Surety Bond 100 % - Payment Bond 100 % No bid will be received unless it is made on proposal forms furnished by the City Engineer. Each proposal must be accompanied by a certified or cashier's check or bid bond in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the estimated aggregate amount of the bid as a guarantee that the bidder, if the award is made to him/her in accordance with the terms of his/her proposal, will promptly execute a contract in the required form, secure payment of worker's compensation insurance, and furnish a satisfactory, faithful performance bond and a labor and material bond. Each of said bonds shall be in the sum of not less than one hundred percent (100%) of the estimated aggregate amount of the payments to be made under the contract computed on the basis of the price stated in the proposal. The City reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive any informality in a bid, and to make award as the interests of the City may require. This notice is given by order of the City Council of the City of Novato, California.
