Site work and new construction of a water / sewer project in Sands Point, New York. Completed plans call for the construction of a 776-square-foot, one-story above grade water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project.

A timeline for the award has not yet been established.** Electrical Construction Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond, made payable to the Incorporated Village of Sands Point, in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the total amount of the bid, as a commitment by the bidder that, if its bid is accepted, it will enter into a contract to perform the work and will execute such further security as may be required for the faithful performance of the contract. Any bid received after the stated closing time will be returned unopened. If bids are sent by mail to the Village Clerk, the bidder shall be responsible for actual delivery of the bid to the Village Clerk before the advertised date and hour for opening of the bids. If the mail is delayed by the postal service, courier service, or in the internal mail system of the Village beyond the date and hour set for the bid opening, bids thus delayed will not be considered and will be returned unopened. Each Bidder must complete and submit with their bid the "Iran Divestment Act Certification" provided in the Bidding Documents in compliance with General Municipal Law 103-g, Iranian Energy Sector Divestment. Each Bidder must complete and submit with their Bid the "Statement on Sexual Harassment Prevention provided in the Bid Form regarding the implementation of a written policy addressing sexual harassment prevention in the workplace. The Bidder to whom the Village proposes to award the Contract will be required to furnish performance and payment bonds and the necessary insurance certificates as prescribed in the General Conditions and the Supplementary Conditions upon the execution of the Agreement within ten (10) days of the Notice of Award. Bidders are required to execute a non-collusive bidding certification required by Section 103-d of the General Municipal Law of the State of New York. The attention of Bidders is particularly called to the requirements as to the conditions of employment to be observed and the minimum wage rates to be paid under the contracts. All bidders must comply with the rules and regulations for the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990. Bidders are also required to comply with the anti-discrimination provisions of Sections 290-301 of the Executive Law of the State of New York. The Village reserves the right to reject any or all of the Bids received, to readvertise for Bids, to abandon the project, to waive any or all informalities in any Bid received, accept any proposal which the Village determines to be the Lowest Responsible Bid in accordance with Article 5-A of the General Municipal Law, and accept any proposal which the Village decides to be in the best interest of the Village. A. Furnish all labor, equipment, materials, tools, means, methods, and incidentals necessary to complete the Work as required by the Contract Documents for this Construction Contract. Each Contractor shall coordinate, through the Owner/Engineer, the work of their contract with the work by others. B. This following abbreviated summary is provided in order to briefly describe the work covered by the Contract Documents for this Construction Contract. It is not all inclusive of the work under the Contract. C. The work includes, but is not limited to, the following: 1. Provide, install, maintain, and repair, if necessary, temporary power and light throughout the site and to the Owner/Engineer's field office. Temporary power shall be provided at location(s) selected by the Engineer based on input by the General Contractor. 2. Arrange for and install primary electric service. 3. Main secondary feeders, power distribution, and instrumentation control wiring. Provide, mount, and install electrical conduit, wire, fittings, boxes, panels, and electrical accessories. 4. All clearing, excavation, filling, and backfilling associated with the installation of underground conduit, duct bank, or wiring. 5. Setting of electrical sleeves and/or embedded conduit in all concrete construction. All conduit for new construction shall be surface mounted in concrete slabs, decks, or walls. 6. Electrical connections (final termination) to all equipment, control panels, ventilating equipment and electrical devices. 7. New Motor Control Center. 8. New lighting fixtures, wiring and associated equipment. 9. Furnish, install and power primary flow elements, transmitters, flow recorders and install interconnecting wiring where said devices are to be provided as work of Contract E. Install and power primary flow elements, transmitters, flow recorders and install interconnecting wiring where said devices are to be provided as work of other contracts. 10. New instrumentation including switches, transmitters, and recorders for flow and pressure, and pH and Chlorine analyzers. 11. Power and controls to the new well enclosure and specified devices. 12. All excavation, trenching, backfilling, and rough grading associated with the installation of pull-boxes, underground conduit, and wiring. Final restoration by Contract G. 13. Final electrical terminations to all control panels, pumping equipment, HVAC equipment, etc. 14. Wiring connections to all electrical equipment (including equipment furnished by others). 15. Connections to PLC for all control and telemetry equipment and devices. 16. Testing, programming and adjusting of all electrical systems. 17. Startup participation for the various equipment and systems of the project. Provide complete service to troubleshoot and assist manufacturer service representatives in obtaining a completely functional installation. Provide systems and equipment training for Owner personnel. 18. Project closeout submittals. D. All other work shown and specified in the Contract Documents for Contract E
