Scranton City Hall ADA Bathroom Renovations DEADLINE FOR QUESTIONS: September 17, 2025 All communications regarding technical, scope, and/or project related questions and requests for clarifications, changes, exceptions, and deviations to the terms and conditions set forth in this ITB shall be submitted via "Q&A" through the City's e-Procurement Portal, before the deadline of 4:30 pm on Wednesday, September 17, 2025 and according to these specifications herein The renovation of the compact 55-square-foot bathroom was designed to maximize space efficiency, which will also include the area to be ADA compliant with Baby changing table. The project will consist of a full demolition of the existing fixtures, and outdated finishes. Plumbing and electrical systems will stay in place and be modified according to plan and brought to code. All plumbing and electrical will be contracted separately and coordinated by this contract. Demolition: -Approximate 55 sq.ft, offloor area (8'-0" Ceiling height) -The contents of bathroom area to be removed including ceiling and wall tiles. (Note: Floor to stay in place) -Existing Bathroom Door to be removed and salvaged for Historical Use Proposed: -New Ceiling Grid to be installed (See Plan A-102) -Epoxy 55 sq.ft, of Bathroom floor All Areas to be painted (color to owners liking) -New Floor drain replacement within existing location -Install a new bathroom door with ADA hardware. -Construction of new walls (drywall/painted) Plumbing: Work By Others to be coordinated by General Contractor -Cap existing sanitary and waterlines that will be abandoned -Install New ADA Water Closet within existing floor location -Install New ADA sink (location according to plan) Electrical: Work By Others to be coordinated by General Contractor. -Existing wire to be terminated as noted. -Existing lights remain and tie into new sensor upon proposed door entry
