Westerly Solids Handling Building (W20) Third Floor Tempstar HVAC Unit Replacement The Work to be performed under this Contract shall consist of furnishing all tools, equipment, materials, supplies, and manufactured articles; furnishing all labor, transportation, and services, including fuel, power, water, and essential communications; and performing all work or other operations required for the fulfillment of the Contract in accordance with the Contract Documents. The Work shall be complete and all work, materials, and services not expressly indicated or called for in the Contract Documents which may be necessary for the complete and proper construction of the Work in good faith shall be provided by the Contractor as though originally so indicated, at no increased cost to the Owner. B. Work Covered by Contract Documents Location: a. Westerly Wastewater Treatment Plant - 5800 Memorial Shoreway, Cleveland, OH 44102. Principal Features: a. Removal of exiting ceiling hung Tempstar indoor unit and associated exterior condensing unit. Installation of a new energy recovery AHU, new DX fan coil unit, new condensing unit, and new dehumidifier to serve the W20 men's restroom and locker room. C. Contract Documents - Owner shall provide electronic copies of Contract documents and Conformed -to-Contract drawings (native and pdf) and specifications. Printed copies will not be provided by the Owner. D. Work by Others: The Contractor shall coordinate performance of the Work with other Contracts the Owner may execute for work at this site, as required by this and other specifications and the provisions of the General Terms and Conditions Article 11. Keep all drives, access ways, entrances and common areas not specifically identified on the drawings as being occupied by this CONTRACT, free for use by Owner and other Contractors. In the case of disputes regarding the use of the site by this CONTRACT and other Contractors, the Owner will decide which Contract has precedence. There is an Air Handling Unit (AHU) (Asset ID 63801) that provides makeup air to the Locker Rooms and Restrooms in Westerly Solids Handling. This AHU, originally installed in 1998, is no longer functional and is beyond its useful life. The Westerly (W20) Third Floor Tempstar HVAC Unit Project will include the removal of the existing ceiling-hung Tempstar indoor fan coil unit, associated exterior condensing unit, and accessories. The project will also include installation of a new energy recovery AHU, new Direct Expansion (DX) fan coil unit, new condensing unit, new dehumidifier, new refrigerant piping, and electrical work and operational testing. The duration of the requirement contract with the Northeast Ohio Regional Sewer District (NEORSD) shall be until the completion of work under the contract or until the funds appropriated to this contract are exhausted, whichever should occur first from the effective date of this Contract.
