project that will consists of either Alternate A - furnishing 8 - HL93 30" D x 65' L x 3'-10" W Precast Prestressed Concrete Double Tee Beams, bearing pads and fasteners or Alternate B - furnishing 4 - HL93 U30 66 ft Long Galvanized Press Brake Formed Steel Tub Girders (U-Beams) and stay in place metal decking, bearing pads and fasteners. The beams will be delivered to the job site, located on 425th Avenue, near the center of Section 21 in Elk River TWP (T81N R06E), Clinton County, Iowa. Required Delivery Date- November 10, 2025 Liquidated Damages- $100.00 per day A certified check made payable to the County, or a Cashier's check, made payable to Clinton County, drawn upon a state or federally chartered bank or bid bond, shall be filed with each proposal in an amount set forth in the proposal form. Cashier's check, made payable to the contractor, shall contain an unqualified endorsement to the County signed by the contractor or his/her authorized agent. Failure to execute a contract and file an acceptable performance bond and certificate of insurance within 30 days of the approval date for awarding of the contract, as herein provided will be just and sufficient cause for the denial of the award and the forfeiture of the proposal guaranty.
