Site work and new construction of a mixed-use development in Waynesboro, Georgia. Completed plans call for the construction of a 9,403-square-foot, one-story above grade recreation facility.
Question Deadline 12/08/2025 Architect will provide responses at Prebid conference to bidders questions received up to two business days prior to conference. All bidder questions are due in writing no later than 72 hours prior to the bid time specified above. The project will consist of the redesigned complex which includes construction of two new buildings along with related site improvements. The existing 4.5acres site is mostly undeveloped with two dilapidated structures to be demolished by City Forces. The first new building will be an approximately 1,600 square foot multipurpose facility featuring, office space, restrooms, and a community room for indoor learning and activities. The second building will be an approximately 7,700 square foot gymnasium with a multipurpose court including basketball (full court and four half courts), volleyball, and pickleball. Exterior improvements will include parking areas, stormwater detention and treatment facilities, utilities, site clearing and grading. The estimated range of this project is between $1,950,000_to $2,100,000_for labor and miscellaneous materials. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. BONDING REQUIREMENTS: An original Bid Bond for 5 percent of the total bid must be submitted with the bid. Performance and Payment Bonds in the amount of 100 percent of the contract price will be required if contract is awarded. The City of Waynesboro reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive any technicalities or irregularities, and to award the bid based on the highest and best interest of the City of Waynesboro . The Owner will in no way be liable for any costs incurred by any bidder or potential bidder in the preparation of its bid in response to this Invitation to Bid.
