Renovation of a clubhouse / community center in Pocomoke City, Maryland. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a 25,000-square-foot, three-story above grade clubhouse / community center.

The City of Pocomoke, Maryland is inviting qualified architectural and/or engineering firms to submit proposals to provide professional design services for the planned Pocomoke City Community Centre. This work is required to support the City's Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) application and will serve as the basis for future construction bidding Proposal Requirements Include: • Development of a detailed design plan with site plan, floor plans, elevations, and specifications • Estimated total construction cost for the proposed design • Firm qualifications and experience with similar projects • Proposed project approach, timeline, and fee schedule Questions regarding this RFP must be submitted in writing by Monday, September 8, 2025, at 4:00 PM. Responses will be compiled and distributed in writing to all registered attendees no later than Wednesday, September 10, 2025. The purpose of this meeting is to review the scope of services, project requirements, and applicable Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) requirements, including federal labour standards, MBE/WBE outreach, and Section 3 obligations. The City of Pocomoke reserves the right to accept or reject any and all proposals and to award the contract in the best interest of the City.
