Site work and new construction of a military facility in Shilo, Manitoba. Completed plans call for the construction of a 10,022-square-foot, one-story above grade military facility.
This project is for the construction of a new Canadian Armed Forces - Transition Group (CAF-TG) Transition Centre building in CFB Shilo, Manitoba. Work under this project includes all labour, materials, equipment and supervision necessary to construct the Transition Centre building. The intended scope of this work for this project should the project proceed will include: Infrastructure to accommodate approximately 25 personnel with an estimated total gross floor area of 928 m2; and All associated site works. The work includes, but is not necessarily limited to: Site preparation, excavation, foundations, framing, structural steel, miscellaneous metals, electrical, plumbing, mechanical, roofing, exterior finishes, glazing, insulation, drywall, painting, flooring, acoustical ceiling tiles, furnishings, doors and hardware, blinds, paving, landscaping. The rough order of magnitude value of this contract is estimated to be $12,290,000.00. * This project is being bid by invitation only.
