Project 657A4-25-107 involves triennial electrical testing at the John J. Pershing VA Medical Center in Poplar Bluff, Missouri. The scope includes testing approximately 200 electrical panels, 20 transformers, 100 fused/non-fused switches, 3 generators, and 11 automatic transfer switches. The contractor is responsible for verifying quantities and completeness. Testing must comply with the 2023 edition of the International Electrical Testing Association (NETA) Maintenance and Testing Specifications, particularly chapter 7, and adhere to all applicable codes including the latest NEC standards. Due to the operational nature of the hospital and clinics, much of the work must be performed after hours, at night, or on weekends. Power outages associated with testing require a 4-week advance notice to the VA COR. The basis for this work is outlined in VHA Directive 1028, Electrical Power Distribution System, dated February 24, 2020. Location: John J.
