Reference Number WS5329549297-Doc5329619655 Department of National Defence, is issuing this Request for Proposal (RFP) for the acquisition of 2 motorized basketball goals including delivery, installation and removal of the current goals located in Alouette, Quebec The contractor must supply the following equipment for two basketball structures (goals): 2.1. Must have a double-mast ceiling folding structure; 2.2. Must be motorized by at least a ¾ force electric winch; 2.3. Must have an “Autoloc” type fall arrest system with 10,000-lb. capacity minimum; 2.4.Basket height adjustment 2.4.1. Must allow manual height adjustment from 102 inches (8 feet 6 inches) to 120 inches (10 feet), and include crank; 2.5. Must be equipped with a 42" high X 72" wide glass panel; 2.6.The glass panel must have a protection cushion; 2.7. Must be equipped with a spring-loaded goal; 2.8. Must have a nylon netting, minimum 5MM, with anti-rotation buckles. 3. INCLUSIONS Contract must include: 3.1. Delivery, assembly, and installation of the equipment, including all travel and living expenses, tools and security equipment rental. Contractor’s designated personnel will have to install equipment at an approximate height of 20 feet (height given for reference in order to understand the install work required) and must wear protective equipment to work in heights with security during install (Contractor need to provide the security equipment); 3.2.The removal of the two existing structures (goals).
