Renovation of a municipal facility in Durham, North Carolina. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
HVAC Improvements at the Armory and Go Durham facilities. Anticipated services include Plumbing, Mechanical, and Electrical Engineering Design along with General Construction of the Designed Facility Upgrades. Prior experience with downtown municipal buildings and carbon neutral design is desired. The overall budget for each project is as follows: The Armory - $1,500,000 GoDurham - $1,100,000 Question deadline(August 28, 2025) was closed so unable to add the event. City Council award of contract December 2025 The Design Phase goals for this RFQ are 0% Minority/UBE and 0% Women/UBE. The Construction Phase goals for this RFQ are 11% Minority/UBE and 7% Women/UBE. Estimated Project Completion (will vary for each project) Fall 2026 The City of Durham reserves the right to reject any and all submittals. Any questions regarding this RFQ must be received in writing by Tuesday 8/28/2025 by 3:00 p.m. Questions received after this date may not receive a response. Questions must be emailed to John Paces-Wiles at john.paces-wiles@durhamnc.gov . All written questions will be answered in an addendum made available on the City's website and emailed to firms who registered as interested in receiving such correspondence.
