Closing Time: 1:00 PM (NT) The project will consist generally of, but will not necessarily be limited to, the supply of all necessary plant, labour, equipment, and materials to facilitate dredging the existing seabed to a depth of -10.1 metres, and relocation of an estimated 2780 cubic metres of sediment to adjacent designated areas within the harbour. A minimum depth of 8.5m below MLW is to be maintained at all times during the project. It is anticipated that all work will be completed from a barge or by other means as the existing dock along Piers 10 and 11 cannot be used. Work in this project will include but not be limited to the following: Dredge of approximately 2760 cubic meter of material adjacent at Pier 10 and disposal in deeper water immediately outside the dredge area. Dredge of approximately 20 cubic meter of material adjacent at Pier 11 and disposal in deeper water immediately outside the dredge area. Dredge depths, limits and disposal areas are detailed in Appendix A Drawing C1 to C7 Specific Instructions 1. A minimum Depth of 8.5m below Mean Low Water (MLW) is to be maintained at all times during dredge operations. 2. Upon notification of award the Successful Contractor is to prepare and submit for approval a detailed work plan. The plan shall detail the following: Detailed description of all equipment to be utilized during the dredge operations (including required certifications) Key personnel including certifications Dredging methodology Schedule Pre and Post Dredge survey The Dredging Plan will be subject to review and approval by the Port of St. John's prior to commencing operations.
