No bid will be entertained unless it is prepared upon the City of Bainbridge Bid Form and signed in ink by an official of the company submitting the proposal. All prices quoted shall be firm for a period of 30 days from bid opening. The City of Bainbridge requires a minimum of 30 days to make payment to successful vendor after receipt of goods. A. Removal of all old astro turf. B. Prep area for new astro turf. C. When new astro turf is installed, the contractor shall: a. Astro turf glue MUST be used over all the Area. b. Seam tape MUST be used on ALL seams. c. Astro Turf Pins MUST be used. U-Shaped Pins i. For securing astro turf, pins MUST be used 2-4 inches apart on the perimeter and on hill sides. ii. Pins are used 12-24 inches apart in a flat area. iii. Pins are used along all seams 1-2 inches apart. D. Apply astro turf sand (silica sand) E. There should be no wrinkles or fraying in/of the turf A. Removal of all astro turf. B. Prep area for new astro turf. C. Furnish all glue, tape, pins, and labor to install new astro turf.
