The Project includes the following Work: Removals: common excavation, clearing and grubbing, existing pavement, existing site amenities, existing pier & platforms. Erosion Control: Erosion mat, silt fence, silt fence maintenance, sediment logs, and turbidity barriers. Site Improvements: Permanent pier, posts, piles. gangway, floating platform, railings, decking, concrete abutment with steel sheet, site grading, concrete sidewalk with aggregate base, imported granular fill, and associated materials and accessories necessary for a complete installation .Site and Turf Restoration: Site and turf restoration, general site clean-up and amenities installed. Instructions to Bidders. No proposal will be accepted unless accompanied by a certified check or bid bond equal to at least 5% of the amount bid, payable to the Owner as a guarantee that, if the bid is accepted, the bidder will execute and file the proper contract and bond within 15 days after the award of the contract. The certified check or bid bond will be returned to the bidder as soon as the contract is signed, and if after 15 days the bidder shall fail to do so, the certified check or bid bond shall be forfeited to the Owner as liquidated damages. Tentatively award the work by September 30, 2025. Substantial project completion is desired for piers and associated work by March 1, 2026. Final completion is desired by May 15, 2026.
