The City of Baring, Missouri is accepting sealed bids for the procurement and installation of a storm warning siren. This project is being funded through the FEMA Hazard Mitigation Grant Program (HMGP) and is subject to federal procurement standardsunder 2 CFR Part 200, as well as applicable state and local regulations. The selected contractor shall fumish all equipment, labor, and materials necessary for the complete installation of a storm warning sirensystem within the City of Baring SCOPE OF WORK - Furnish and install one (1) outdoor warning siren capable of providing coverage for the City of Baring and BaringCountry Club Lake (1.9 mile radius] in the event of severe weather or other emergencies. The siren must: Operate on AC; Be capable ofremote activation (radio-controlled); Include necessary pole or mounting hardware Include necessary wiring; Provide a minimum of 124 d8 at100 feet (or equivalent per topography); Obtain all permits and utility locates as required by law; Coordinate installation with City and electricutility, Test and commission the system upon completion; Provide user training to city personnel; Provide operation and maintenance manual;Warranty: Minimum 5-year equipment warranty and 1-year workmanship warranty Bidders must include: Company name, contact person, and license information; Detailed costbreakdown of equipment, labor, and installation; Schedule for delivery and installation; Proof of liability insurance; At least three referencesfrom similar past projects; Certification of compliance with federal contract clauses (Debarment, Equal Opportunity, etc.); Bids will be evaluatedbased on total cost, experience with similar installations, proposed schedule, compliance with technical specifications, contractor eligibility andreferencesThe city reserves the right to waive any informality or reject any or all bids.
