The control panels and metering equipment for the water supply wells are under fabrication, and will be provided by the Owner at no cost to the Bidder, as set out in the contract documents. No bidder may withdraw his bid within 90 days after the actual date of the opening thereof. Note that the liquidated damage amount has been changed from $1,000 to $2,000 per day, this applies to each Schedule but will not apply to both Schedules concurrently. Contract 2 is for 3 water supply wells with controls and discharge appurtenances. These wells are into the Wilcox formation, and are to be 375 to 390 feet deep. Note that the plans and specs for these wells have been changed to eliminate the requirements for new test holes. The existing test hole data is provided in the specs and screening analyses are available. On Contract 2, the Sikeston BMU has pre-purchased the well control panels and meters, and these items will be provided at no expense to the Contractor. Question Deadline 10/14/2025 All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be submitted to Engineer in writing. Interpretations or clarifications considered necessary by Engineer in response to such questions will be issued by Addenda delivered to all parties recorded as having received the Bidding Documents. Questions received less than seven days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered.
