The work of labor for the Mexia Water System DWSRF Infrastructure Improvements Project "Contract "6" Mexia Well #1 Chemical Feed System Upgrade Project -DWSRF Project No. FS010356-01 The principal items of work are detailed herein below. 1. Replace Caustic Feed System 2. Replace Corrosion Inhibitor Feed System 3. Replace Chlorine Feed System 4. One Metering Pump (Caustic) 5. One Metering Pump (Corrosion Inhibitor) No refunds will be made except to Prime Equipment Suppliers, which shall be refunded for one bid set. The Contract may be awarded to the lowest and responsive Bidder. No bid may be withdrawn after the time for opening bids has passed. The Owner reserves the right to hold the bids for a period of sixty (60) days after the date of receiving Bids. The Supplier is hereby advised the TIME IS OF ESSENCE on this project and that the contract time of 30 consecutive calendar days total and noted restrictions shall be strictly observed. The Supplier shall provide a turnkey operating feed system and is responsible for furnishing the Equipment and Installation of the Equipment. Liquidated Damages Will Be Assessed if the Contract Time is Exceeded. The Supplier may apply for an extension of time in accordance with the provisions of the contract; however, such an extension must be approved prior to the contract completion date to avoid the imposition of liquidated damages. The Owner reservesthe right to reject any or all bids, to waive any informality in any bid, and to accept any bid considered advantageous to the Owner. The Supplier shall note that fundsfor this project are provided through DWSRF (Drinking Water State Revolving Funds). All Applicable Federal Guidelines must be met. There will be no Pre-Bid meeting.
