The Village of Granville, Ohio is seeking proposals for their 2025 Fall Tree Planting Project. If awarded, it is anticipated that the plantings will be completed by November 30, 2025. The quantities listed in the proposal form are to be considered as approximate and are to be used only for the comparison of the bids and as a basis for computing amounts of security or penal sums of bonds to be furnished. The unit prices to be tendered by the contractor are to be tendered expressly for the scheduled quantities as they may be increased or decreased. Payments, except for lump sum contracts and for lump sums in unit price contracts, will be made to the contractor for the actual quantities only of work performed or materials furnished in accordance with the plans and specifications. It is also understood that the scheduled quantities of work to be done and materials to be furnished may each be increased or diminished without in any way invalidating the unit price. The Contractor shall provide all supplies, tools, materials, equipment, labor, expert supervision, management, transportation and perform all work required to complete the tree plantings in a manner which is free of trash, debris and weeds to create a neat and clean, aesthetically pleasing appearance. The contract price for all items shall include all labor, materials, tools, and equipment necessary to furnish and install in place, complete and in operating condition the items listed and shown and/or specified. The Contractor shall provide a one-year warranty on all installed trees and provide replacements in a timely manner mutually agreed upon with the Village. Proposals may be held by the Village for a period of up to sixty (60) days after opening. The Village of Granville reserves the right to accept or waive any informalities, to accept or waive any technical requirements, to reject any or all proposals, or to accept any bid that is deemed by the Village Council to be the most responsive to the Village needs.
