Site work and new construction of a municipal facility in Nicholasville, Kentucky. Completed plans call for the construction of a 74,330-square-foot municipal facility; and for site work for a municipal facility.

The descriptions and descriptors that follow are provided for general reference and understanding only. The specific scope of work to be provided shall be as described in the Contract Documents and individual Trade Category Forms of Proposal. Scope of work is the construction of a three story, 74,330 square foot ground up facility for the Jessamine County Public Properties Corporation. The facility will be a new Judicial Center for Jessamine County. Wehr Constructors, Inc. contract form and insurance requirements are included within the Bid Documents. By submission of proposal, you are acknowledging that you have read the subcontract and supporting documents and agree to sign without modification. Failure to comply can result in forfeiture of bid bond and bid rejection. All Proposals must include the following to be considered a complete bid: - Sealed Bid Envelope - Form of Proposal Filled Completely with TP # - Base Bid Price, Including 100% P&P Bond Costs - Breakdown of 100% P&P Bond Costs - 5% Bid Security - Alternates - MBE/DBE/WBE Percentages Question Deadline 10/01/2025 at 2:00 PM ET All questions are to be submitted in writing to Aaron Creech at acreech@wehrconstroctors.com or Michael Powell at mpowell@wehrconstructors.com Responses to written questions received no later than the date above will be provided in an addendum. Subcontractors are to include costs to furnish 100% Performance and Payment Bond along with breakout on bid form for cost if chosen to remove from bid. Bid security shall be required. No bidder may withdraw his bid for a period of forty-five (45) days after the date set for the opening of bids. Bids may be withdrawn in person only, prior to the closing date for receipt of bids. Final award of Contract will be made on the basis of best value, complete, responsive and responsible bid which offers the best value to the Owner. Best value criteria includes the bid amount, time to complete project, references, years in business and experience with previous judicial center projects. Best Value Criteria weight and review process is described below. Bidders using minority and women enterprises as subcontractors and material suppliers are requested to identify these contractors in the space provided on the Bid Form. The successful contractor will be asked to supply associated contract amounts rounded to the nearest $500.00 prior to the signing of a contract. Owner reserves the right to select bids based on Owner's best interest. Wehr Constructors, Inc will execute all trade contracts upon approval from the Owner to do so. Owner reserves the right to accept/reject any bids they deem necessary for any reason. The Owner and/or Wehr Constructors reserve the right to reject any and all bids and to waive all formalities and/or technicalities where the best interest of the Owner may be served. The apparent two (2) low bidders will be requested to meet with the Construction Manager to review the bid and scope of services. All subcontractors should anticipate reviews taking place within 48 hours of the bid submission date and time, and the Construction Manager will notify bidders ASAP of their respective post bid review meetings. These are to be held in person at Wehr Constructors Lexington office, located at 868 Nandino Boulevard, Lexington, KY 40511. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
