The project is expected to be awarded on October 20, 2025.** Construction of Riverview Drive from South 88th Street, east 1960 feet and construction of South 81st Street from Riverview Drive, north 770 feet including 3,000 CY of Contractor Supplied Topsoil Spread, 6,500 CY of Excavation and 1,600 CY of Waste Excavation. 2,275 LF of Sanitary Sewer and 13 Sanitary Sewer Manholes. 4,015 LF of Storm Sewer and 44 Storm Sewer Structures. 1,219 LF of Water Main, Fittings, Valves and Hydrants. 2,871 SY of 7 inch Reinforced PCC Pavement, 8,040 SY of 7.5 inch Reinforced PCC Pavement and 3,313 SY of 6 inch Reinforced PCC Shared Use Path. Erosion Control, Seeding and Surface Restoration, Pavement Markings, Construction Survey, and other Miscellaneous Construction. All bids shall be made on the form furnished by the City through wdm.ionwave.net and shall be filed on or before the time specified above. Each proposal shall be electronically accompanied by a scanned copy of the bid bond or a scanned copy of a cashier's or certified check drawn on an Iowa bank or a bank chartered under the laws of the United States in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the total amount of the bid. If a bid bond is submitted it must be on the form provided with the contract documents. A physical copy of the bid security will be required to be submitted to the City Clerk's Office by the apparent low bidder within 48 hours of the bid deadline. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a performance and payment bond in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price guaranteeing faithful performance of the contract and guaranteeing payment to all persons supplying labor and/or materials in the execution of the work provided for in the contract.
