Lethbridge Land is completing the rough grading, surface works, and utility install for phase 9a in Crossings. This phase includes a stormwater management feature that will be a center piece of the neighbourhood, featuring a boardwalk, nautical themed playground, and landscaping. This tender is to complete the surface works and landscaping of the park, and the procurement and install of playground equipment. As per design drawings and specifications, the contractor will provide materials and resources to complete surface works, landscaping and playground installation around the storm pond in Crossings Phase 9a. The scope of works includes, but is not limited to, the following: All preparation of the site for planting and drainage, including loaming and fine grading Tree, shrub, aquatic flora and native grass (hydroseeding) planting Installation of all pathways, concrete and playground pad Standard City of Lethbridge park and playground requirements including installation of waste and recycling receptacles, lighting, seating, signage and fencing A wooden boardwalk with steel railing Procurement of playground equipment Temporary measures to establish greenery in the park including temporary fencing around the site, tree protection fencing and a temporary irrigation system to establish native dryland grass Completion of all other landscaping elements throughout the park.
