Champaign Park District (District) will receive sealed bids from contractors to furnish all labor, material, supplies and equipment to perform fencing repair at various locations throughout the District Bids are required to be submitted under a condition of irrevocability for a period of thirty (30) days after submission. The Dis-trict reserves the right to re-ject any or all bids, waive any or all informalities in the bids, and determine the lowest responsible bidder. The District encourages minority business firms to submit bids for the project. Bidders shall provide the services and materials in a good and workmanlike, professional and courteous manner. All bidders shall comply with provisions of the District Affirmative Ac-tion Ordinance and ensure that any subcontractor shall also comply therewith. Fur-thermore, all bidders shall comply with all federal, state, and local require-ments pertaining to the Illinois Prevailing Wage Act, the Illinois Human Rights Act, equal opportun ity regulations, and any oth-er state or federal regula-tions applicable to the project and contract. All bidders are notified that the District will affirmatively as-sure that the contract will be awarded without dis-crimination on the grounds of race, color, religion, na-tional origin, and any other protected class or charac-teristics, and no person shall be excluded from par-ticipation in, denied the be-nefits of, or otherwise sub-jected to discrimination un-der any program, service. or activity in violation of any applicable federal or state laws prohibiting such dis-crimination.
